Service boundary · protocol v1

Evidence is not escrow.

DealSeal records a narrow technical claim. It does not intermediate payment, hold assets, recommend a counterparty, enforce a bargain, or replace legal advice.

No identity or authority guarantee

A valid receipt shows that authenticated X Chat and wallet-signature events matched the listed tuple. It does not establish a signer’s legal name, authority to act, ownership of an asset, delivery, authenticity of goods, or that an account was uncompromised.

No custody or settlement

The ceremony asks wallets for an offchain message signature only. It does not send a transaction or take custody. If a later settlement integration is offered, separate terms and regulatory review will apply before launch.

Your responsibilities

Inspect the tuple before signing, keep account and wallet credentials secure, verify the public origin, and independently diligence the deal. Do not rely on handles alone; DealSeal binds numeric X IDs.

This repository is an MVP under technical validation. Operator identity, governing law, liability, support and commercial terms require counsel-approved publication before paid public use.
